XXX Rewind Review

If you long for the olden goldies of porn, then you're in luck when you become a XXX Rewind member. This isn't just a retro site with titillating photos and stag films. This is a DVD site featuring the best of the last three decades in the 20th century. There are movies by Seka, Candida Royalle and Amber Lynn and there are infamous titles including the original 'Deep Throat', 'Candy Stripers' and 'The Golden Age of Porn' series.

While I expected XXX Rewind to offer more titles, I wasn't too disappointed by the offering. Obviously, most of the content is not exclusive. So far, there are 125 full DVDs. The films can be 90 to 120 minutes, and they are divided into scenes that are around 10 to 20 minutes. Navigation seemed easy enough. You can search action categories, series, specific titles, pornstars and studios. When you open a link then you will see the full star list, the DVD front and back box cover, studio, date added and duration of the complete video.

While many titles were familiar to me, I still wished there had have been a good description. Some of the back box covers featured a film synopsis, but I wasn't able to enlarge the images and the text was too small to read. Also, while you can easily add titles to an online favourite's folder, there weren't any bonus sites or extras that came with this membership.

I was pleasantly surprised to find so many format options. There are Flash streams and AVI (2056kbps, 576x432), WMV (1060kbps, 480x360) and iPod (630kbps, 320x180) downloads. The quality is very good when the quality of the original movie is good, and I wasn't disappointed. For the fan of over-acting, fun and cheesy stories, some clothes that'll take you back and some really hot sex, the selection of titles will be perfect.

Final Verdict

Fans of the golden age of porn now have the opportunity to get all the best and famous titles online for a reasonably low monthly fee and all you have to do is join XXX Rewind. The site could use more DVDs, but they are growing and they have a fair amount for the price.
